Ekaterina Bivol, the ex-wife of famous Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol, once again spoke publicly about her personal life, this time touching upon the issue of alimony for her children. He emphasized that the standard of living of children should not decrease after divorce, but in practice this condition is not met.
"There is a law in our country: after divorce, the standard of living of children must not decrease. My eldest son has been playing hockey since he was three years old, his skates cost about 72,000 rubles. I bought it, but why not Bivol? Why should my son, who started sports with his father, abandon this activity now without his father? Now Dmitry pays 128 thousand rubles a month, but in reality, at least 516 thousand rubles are required for two children," said Ekaterina on the "Let Them Talk" program.
For information, the couple officially divorced in 2023.
Such open statements by Ekaterina Bivol are causing widespread public discussion. In particular, the fact that the amount of alimony paid for children by an athlete with a large income, such as a famous boxer, is lower than expected raised many questions.
It should be noted that Yekaterina emphasized the need for stable material support for her children's education and sports. This highlights not only family conflicts, but also a pressing social problem for many citizens.
