The Baltic states assure the US not to stop military aid

The Baltic states are trying to convince the US not to stop providing them with military aid. As Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tskhna emphasized, US decisions to halt or reduce military aid to the region are creating an alarming situation for the Baltic states.

"Of course, we are worried. But we are working with the [US] Congress and explaining that every dollar that the US invests in the defense of the Baltic states will return to the American economy. "We are also contributing from $1 to $12," Margus Tsakhkna said in an interview with Bloomberg.

Tsakhkna believes that US military aid to the Baltic states, in turn, is a good agreement for the US. According to him, the complete cessation or reduction of military aid is contrary to US national interests and could lead to unnecessary losses both economically and strategically.

Furthermore, Tsakhkna emphasized the importance of cooperation between the US and the Baltic states and its significant role in maintaining security in the region. US military assistance and strategic support create a foundation for defense and economic development for the countries of the region.

The Baltic states, including Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, are striving to further strengthen cooperation with the US to strengthen security on their territory and protect NATO's eastern borders.
