Medvedev: "France has no leader, the state has lost its direction"

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev emphasized that France does not have a real leader. According to him, Emmanuel Macron attaches more importance to the demands of Kyiv and the West than to the interests of the country.

Medvedev made this statement following the resignation of French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornoun. It was reported that the new government operated for only 14 hours.

In a statement distributed via Telegram, Medvedev wrote:

"There is no president in France. The state acts as a defender of Kyiv, a partner of Germany and Britain, and a neocolonial ruler in Africa."

For information, Lekornu was appointed on September 9, but recently resigned. Currently, political instability is growing in France, government spending is decreasing, and protests against social reforms are intensifying. On October 2, protests took place in more than 200 cities, therefore the Eiffel Tower was also temporarily closed.
