Donald Trump openly announced the outcome of the strike against the Iranian elite

The tension in the Middle East has reached an even higher point. US President Donald Trump issued a sharp statement regarding the operation against Iran's military and political leadership, emphasizing that the action proved to be more effective than anticipated. He stated that the results of the strikes could even surprise international observers.
In an interview with CNBC, Trump stated that the operation aimed at eliminating the Iranian military leadership had been successful. The White House leader assessed this process as a very rapid and ahead-of-the-line operation. According to him, the "immediate disappearance of 48 leaders" demonstrates the scale of these attacks.
The American leader highlighted this operation as an important step not only in the interests of the US but also from the perspective of global security. In a subsequent interview with CBS, he said that negotiations and reaching an agreement with Tehran became easier than before after the strikes. Trump's statement indicates that Washington is trying to turn this military pressure into a political outcome.
The Israel Defense Forces also reported on the heavy losses of the Iranian leadership. In a statement on the SAHAL X social network, he announced the deaths of Iran's high-ranking command, as well as the leaders of some allied structures linked to Tehran. This indicates that the strikes were directed not at ordinary military facilities, but directly at control units.
The final reports stated that during the operation, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Chief of the General Staff Abdul Rahim Musawi, former Chief of the General Staff Hussein Salami, Head of the Emergency Situations Command Ghulam-Ali Rashid, Commander of the Air Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Amir Ali Hajizada, and Commander of the Al-Quds Force on the Syria-Lebanon route Hussein Mahdawi were killed. This list alone shows how strongly the strikes affected Iran's military-political vertical.
At the same time, the published list also mentions the leaders of Hezbollah and Hamas, as well as the head of the headquarters of the Houthi armed forces, Muhammad Abdulkarim al-Ghamari. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed the death of its commander, Muhammad Pakpur. This means that the scope of the conflict is no longer limited to Iran, but is being dealt a blow to the entire regional network.
The US Central Command - CENTCOM - also issued a statement. It was noted that as a result of the strikes on the facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the headquarters of this organization was completely destroyed. The command made a sharp statement that "there is no longer a headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," which further strengthened the symbolic and strategic significance of this offensive.
At the same time, various conflicting reports circulated about the situation. Earlier, Trump announced the death of Ali Khamenei, calling him "one of the most evil people in history." However, the Tasnim agency initially claimed that the supreme leader was leading the combat operations from the operational headquarters. Later, Iranian officials confirmed Khomeini's death, and a 40-day mourning period was declared in the country.
According to the Fars news agency, the US and Israeli strikes dealt a heavy blow not only to Iran's military-political elite but also to the high-ranking family. The report stated that Khomeini's daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and one of his daughters-in-law were also killed. This once again demonstrated how deeply and painfully the scale of the ongoing tragedy is becoming.
Thus, the current situation in the region has gone beyond the level of a simple military operation. This is now considered a historic turning point affecting not only the leadership of the state, but also the balance of power in the entire region. The main question remains open: will these blows end the conflict or will they push the Middle East into a deeper and more dangerous phase?
