Forbes magazine has released a ranking of the world’s richest celebrities. Famous film director Steven Spielberg tops the list with a net worth estimated at 7.1 billion dollars.
At 79 years old, Spielberg is considered one of the most successful directors in the history of world cinema. He earned millions through famous films such as Jaws, Jurassic Park, and Indiana Jones. In addition, he is one of the founders of the well-known DreamWorks film studio. The director first appeared on the Forbes list in 1994 and has remained on it ever since.
The second place in the ranking goes to another legendary director — George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars. The 81-year-old filmmaker’s fortune is estimated at 5.2 billion dollars. Third place belongs to basketball legend Michael Jordan with a net worth of 4.3 billion dollars.
The Forbes list also includes other well-known and wealthy figures. Television host Oprah Winfrey ranks fifth with 3.2 billion dollars, singer Taylor Swift is seventh with 2 billion dollars, and golfer Tiger Woods takes the 11th position with 1.5 billion dollars.
Basketball star LeBron James ranks 14th with a fortune of 1.4 billion dollars, while actor and former politician Arnold Schwarzenegger holds the 16th place with 1.2 billion dollars. Tennis legend Roger Federer and renowned director James Cameron follow with 1.1 billion dollars each.
At the bottom of the ranking are music stars Rihanna and Beyoncé, each with a net worth of 1 billion dollars.
