Skoda launches its most powerful EV crossover

Skoda has officially introduced the high-performance version of its Enyaq SUV — the Enyaq RS, Daily-Motor.ru reported. The new electric crossover shares its drivetrain with the recently revealed Elroq RS and features impressive performance specs.

The Enyaq RS is powered by two electric motors and features all-wheel drive. It delivers 340 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, outperforming its smaller sibling, the Elroq RS.

Top speed is 180 km/h. Thanks to a 79 kWh battery, it offers a driving range of up to 550 km. Charging from 10 to 80% takes only 26 minutes with a 185 kW fast charger.

It also comes with progressive steering, modified suspension, and reduced ground clearance (15 mm lower in front, 10 mm in the rear). Optional features include DCC adaptive chassis control and more powerful two-piston front brakes.

Interior upgrades include carbon-style trim, a heated sport steering wheel, and bolstered heated seats with massage function.

The Enyaq RS will go on sale soon. Pricing is yet to be announced, but it’s expected to be among the most expensive Enyaq versions.
