According to the data of the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, in July 2025, sales in the automotive market of Uzbekistan significantly and noticeably increased. These indicators are associated with the growth of activity in the country's transport market and the rising demand of the population for cars.
In this month, the total volume of sold vehicles reached 116.8 thousand units, which is 27 percent more compared to June of the current year, and at the same time is the highest indicator since January 2024 (144.5 thousand units). These numbers demonstrate the stable growth of activity in the automotive market and the increase in the number of buyers.
The light vehicle segment is especially noteworthy. The total sales volume amounted to almost 100 thousand units, which is 25 percent more compared to the previous month, further stimulating the sales dynamics.
Locally produced new light vehicles maintain leading positions in the market. They were sold in the amount of 32.9 thousand units with a growth of 38.6 percent, demonstrating the strong development of domestic production and the increasing confidence of the population in local products.
At the same time, sales of new foreign-produced light vehicles also showed positive dynamics. In this segment, 5.4 thousand units were sold, which is 35.8 percent higher than the June indicator, confirming the significant increase in demand for imported cars.
