A service for purchasing "beautiful" license plates has been launched in Uzbekistan

The service for purchasing "beautiful" license plates in Uzbekistan was launched on September 4 in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 562. This, in turn, allows individuals and legal entities to obtain unique and aesthetic license plates through unsold license plates at auction.

Currently, this service is provided through the Safe Road Traffic Safety app. In the app, "beautiful" license plates are sold at the prices set for license plates of categories 1-3 that were put up for auction and were not sold. For individuals, these figures are provided for 17 times the base calculation amount (BCA), that is, 7 million soums. And legal entities can buy more - for 10.3 million soums, which is 25 times the BRV. These figures, although previously put up for auction, have not yet been sold and are now being presented to everyone.

It should be noted that the figures indicated in the last auction of the 1st stage mainly determine the expression "beautiful," and trading for them began depending on demand. At the same time, from January 1, 2026, everyone will have the opportunity to receive any combination of numbers and letters for a full fee. This new opportunity allows you to select the desired number through auctions, make a payment for them, and use them more from the new year.

New auto registration services in Uzbekistan will increase demands in the automotive industry and will be an important step in providing the latest opportunities for new ownership. Thus, auctions and the release of license plates for sale, as well as their high prices, will mark the beginning of a new stage in the automotive industry.
