Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid version launched in Australian market

Toyota has officially introduced its most powerful SUV, the Land Cruiser 300 Hybrid, to the Australian market. Previously sold only in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, the model's availability is now expanding. This is reported by Ixbt.com .
The new model is equipped with the i-Force Max hybrid system, consisting of a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and an electric motor. With a total output of 457 hp and 790 Nm of torque, this powertrain is more powerful than the traditional diesel models.
Australian buyers are offered the GR Sport and Sahara ZX trim levels. Both versions feature a 10-speed automatic transmission and Toyota's proprietary all-wheel-drive system. The GR Sport modification stands out with an upgraded suspension system and electronic differential locks.
Key features of the hybrid version include electric power steering and a 1500W power outlet in the cargo area. The vehicle is produced exclusively in a five-seat interior configuration.
The model is expected to go on sale in mid-2026. The starting price for the GR Sport version is $113,000, while the Sahara ZX is $113,500, which is approximately $6,500 more expensive than the standard V6 engine models.
