Changan has completed the certification process for the Deepal S05 electric crossover for the Russian market. The model has received its official vehicle type approval (OTTS), with sales expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026. The Deepal S05 is equipped with a dual-motor powertrain, providing all-wheel drive (AWD) capability. The vehicle has a total output of 381 hp, with a nominal power of 146 hp. Equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery, the crossover offers a range of up to 500 kilometers on a single charge.
The vehicle's dimensions are 4620 x 1900 x 1600 mm. Most notably, its wheelbase is 2880 mm—a figure larger than that of large SUVs like the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 or Geely Monjaro. Such a long wheelbase guarantees one of the most spacious cabins in its class.
In terms of safety and technical equipment, the Deepal S05 is provided with a disc brake system and energy recuperation functionality. The model is also enriched with ABS, BAS, and ESC stability systems, front and side airbags, and an emergency call system.
