First turbocharged Lada Iskra unveiled in Russia

Russian tuning company RCI Service has announced the creation of the first turbocharged Lada Iskra. In its standard form, the car is equipped with a 106 hp 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine and a 6-speed manual transmission, reaching 100 km/h in 12.6 seconds. This was reported by Ixbt.com .
With a custom turbo kit installed by specialists, the engine power has been increased to 160 hp and torque to 240 Nm. After installing a Garrett-1752 turbine, the car's 0-100 km/h acceleration time was reduced to 7.5–8 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km/h.
The project features a stainless steel exhaust manifold, an upgraded cooling system, and a modernized braking system. The tuning process took only four days and significantly improved the engine's dynamics and elasticity.
As a reminder, the Lada Iskra model is gaining market success: 3,212 units were sold in April. The model is equipped with features such as the modern Lada EnjoY Evo multimedia system, Yandex services, LED optics, and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
