On the morning of July 17, Universal unexpectedly launched ticket sales for the film’s IMAX premiere. Everything sold out within an hour. At the famous AMC Empire cinema in New York, all seats were booked in just five minutes. This demonstrates the audience’s great interest in the film and their high trust in Nolan.
“Odyssey” stands out not only for its subject matter but also for its technical innovation. This is Nolan’s most expensive film and the first movie in the world shot entirely on IMAX 70mm film. The film will be shown in this format in only 30 cinemas worldwide.
