“If Javokhir wants, we will make Assaubayeva a bride” — Sindorov’s grandmother shared her opinion
During the Candidates Tournament taking place in Cyprus, the relationship between Uzbek player Javokhir Sindorov and Kazakh player Bibisara Assaubayeva has been widely discussed on social media. In particular, photos posted by Bibisara on social networks have intensified fans’ questions: “Are they just friends?”
Sindorov’s grandmother commented on the situation, saying that if Javokhir wants to marry Bibisara, the family would not be against it:
Currently, both chess players are participating in the prestigious tournament in Cyprus. Javokhir Sindorov has practically secured victory with one round left and earned the right to fight for the world championship title. Bibisara Assaubayeva, with 7.5 points, holds second place in her group and will compete for victory in the final round.
The players have not officially commented on their relationship yet. However, photos on social media show that the young grandmasters are actively supporting each other.
