Missile strike on Ukrainian cities: 13 people killed

Russia launched a massive missile and drone attack on several Ukrainian cities overnight, resulting in 13 deaths, including a 12-year-old child. The heaviest casualties were reported in Odesa and Kyiv, while strikes also hit Dnipro and Kharkiv, causing significant damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. In the capital alone, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that 45 people were injured. Rescue operations are currently ongoing across all affected regions.
On the night of Thursday, Russia carried out large-scale missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian territories. A total of 13 people were killed as a result of strikes targeting Kyiv and other major cities.
According to the international agency Reuters, a 12-year-old child was among the victims. The heaviest casualties were recorded in the cities of Odessa (7 people) and Kyiv (5 people). Two more people died on the Dnieper.
According to Vitaliy Klitschko, 45 citizens were injured in the capital. High-rise buildings, infrastructure facilities, and residential buildings were severely damaged.
It was also reported that drone attacks were recorded in Kharkiv, with two people injured. Rescue operations are currently ongoing in all affected areas.
According to experts, the attacks could further aggravate the security situation in the region.
