Britain expands list of new sanctions against Russia

Great Britain has further strengthened the restrictive measures applied to Russia, expanding its sanctions list. According to official reports, 85 individuals and legal entities have been added to the list under the new decision.

The British government's statement notes that the sanctions include individuals operating in various sectors. Among them are Vladimir Tabak, Grigory Gurov, and Vladislav Golovin. Additionally, dozens of employees of the Social Design Agency, including authors, translators, and media content creators, have faced restrictions.

The sanctions are not limited to individuals. A number of organizations have also been added to the list, including various think tanks and institutions operating in the internet sector.

London officials link these measures to Russia's information policy, specifically "information warfare campaigns." At the same time, the statement mentions issues related to Ukraine, including allegations of the forced deportation of children.

In response, the Russian side continues to deny these accusations. According to Moscow officials, children taken from Ukraine were evacuated for safety reasons. Kremlin representatives characterize such statements by Western countries as politically motivated.

Experts believe that the new sanctions could further increase tensions in international relations. At the same time, this decision signals that geopolitical competition is entering a new phase.
