Temu Marketplace registered as a legal entity in Uzbekistan

The Temu marketplace has been registered as a legal entity - a resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Tax Committee.

Earlier, it was reported that the use of the Temu platform in Uzbekistan would be restricted from March 20, 2025.

Paragraph 2 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of December 26, 2024 "On Measures for the Further Development of the Electronic Commerce Sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan" establishes that only legal entities - residents of Uzbekistan - may operate as electronic commerce operators, in particular, operators of electronic trading platforms.
