
In March 2025, Uzbekistan's regions demonstrated confident economic and business growth, reported kursiv.media, citing the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR).
Compared to March last year, total tax revenues increased by 19.6%. Tashkent city alone saw a 49.6% increase. Tashkent and Namangan regions were also among the leaders. The main contributors to revenue growth were income and property taxes.
The average volume of loans issued rose by 53.7%, with the highest growth in Syrdarya, Tashkent, Namangan, and Surkhandarya.
More than 19,400 new firms and individual entrepreneurs were registered in March. The leaders were Tashkent city, Tashkent region, and Khorezm.
Exports increased by 7.1%, particularly from Surkhandarya, Samarkand, and Bukhara regions.
