After the shortage of gold bars recorded on October 3, banks in Tashkent have started selling them again. As of October 8, it has become known that gold bars of various weights are available in several capital banks, reports Kursiv media site.
Specifically, at the People’s Bank branch in Yakkasaray district there are 154 bars of 5 grams, 29 bars of 10 grams, 98 bars of 20 grams, 46 bars of 50 grams, and 49 bars of 100 grams. At Kapitalbank (OPERU) there are 29 bars of 5 grams, 29 bars of 10 grams, 35 bars of 20 grams, and 1 bar of 50 grams. At Asaka Bank’s “Avtotransport” branch, there are 24 bars of 5 grams, 27 bars of 10 grams, and 23 bars of 20 grams.
There are also a small number of bars in other regions of the country:
Karakalpakstan: a total of 5 bars of 5, 10 and 20 grams;
Andijan: 2 bars of 50 grams;
Bukhara: 4 bars of 50 grams;
Kashkadarya: a total of 10 bars (10 grams, 20 grams, 50 grams);
Namangan: 15 bars, main weights — 10 grams, 20 grams, 50 grams;
Surkhandarya: 2 bars (5 grams, 50 grams);
Fergana: 2 bars of 50 grams;
Navoi: 2 bars weighing 20 grams and 50 grams.
The price of the bars is set depending on their weight as follows:
5 grams — 7.9 million soums
10 grams — 15.8 million soums
20 grams — 31.6 million soums
50 grams — 79.1 million soums
100 grams — 158.4 million soums
