Uzbekistan, entering a new stage of economic development, is actively continuing international cooperation in the digitalization of the financial system and the introduction of artificial intelligence. To this end, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economy and Finance with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan, Won Do-yeon, the Ministry's press service reported.
First Deputy Minister of Finance Ilkhom Norkulov, Deputy Minister of Finance Gulnara Rakhimova, and Chairman of the Treasury Committee Abdulaziz Khaydarov took part in the meeting. During the conversation, proposals for the full digitalization of public procurement and the introduction of artificial intelligence solutions into financial and treasury processes were discussed.
The parties agreed to create mechanisms for exchanging experience and knowledge between experts, jointly create AI centers, and implement programs for training qualified personnel.
Korean specialists expressed their readiness to share their experience in developing digital solutions in the financial sector. Advanced international models of the use of artificial intelligence in public administration processes were also discussed.
Following the meeting, the two countries agreed to further deepen cooperation in the field of innovation and digital technologies. Representatives of the Ministry emphasized that this step will make it possible to increase the transparency of the financial system, reduce the human factor in public procurement, and effectively use budget funds.
This new cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea is expected to be an important stage in the transition to a digital economy. With the introduction of artificial intelligence into the financial sphere, it is possible that a qualitatively new era will begin in public administration.
