The number of commercial organizations operating in Uzbekistan is growing year by year. According to the National Statistical Committee, as of December 1, 2025, 405.5 thousand commercial enterprises operate in the country.
Among them, limited liability companies (LLCs) have the largest share, amounting to 318.3 thousand. This means that 78.5% of all enterprises are registered in the form of LLCs. LLCs are becoming increasingly popular among entrepreneurs as the most convenient and safe form of doing business.
By other organizational and legal forms, the number of enterprises is distributed as follows:
- Private enterprises - 46,996 (11.6%)
- Family enterprises - 36,292 (8.9%)
- Joint-stock companies - 639 (0.2%)
- Enterprises of other forms - 3,283 (0.8%)
These indicators show that the business environment in Uzbekistan has expanded and the process of starting a business has become easier.
