National statistics: Metallurgy of Uzbekistan showed significant growth at the beginning of the year

The metallurgical industry in Uzbekistan recorded significant growth in January 2026 - the volume increased by 2.1 times.

According to the National Statistics Committee, at the beginning of the year, the production of metallurgical products in the country amounted to 29.2 trillion soums.

This indicator shows a significant increase compared to the corresponding period of 2025. The volume of the metallurgical industry for January by year is as follows:

  • 2020 - 4.8 billion soums
  • 2021 - 6.8 billion soums
  • 2022 - 7.7 billion soums
  • 2023 - 8.1 billion soums
  • 2024 - 10.4 billion soums
  • 2025 - 14.1 billion soums
  • 2026 - 29.2 billion soums

These data clearly demonstrate the sustainable growth of the metallurgical industry of Uzbekistan and its significance in the country's economy.
