Flour prices fell significantly on the Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange

From March 30 to April 5, 2026, a total of 50,560 transactions were made on the Commodity Exchange of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which is an increase of 11.1% compared to the previous week. Despite the increase in the total volume of exchange trades, there was a decrease in the prices of flour and polyethylene products.
During this period, 23,912 transactions were concluded through open trading. The largest share of this belongs to flour and polyethylene products. In particular, flour sales were carried out in the amount of 18,345 tons, with an average daily sales of 3,669 tons. The average daily price of one ton of flour decreased from 3 million 909.4 thousand soums to 3 million 855.3 thousand soums. This price decrease seems to reflect the average trend in the market.
At the same time, 3,017 tons of polyethylene were also sold on the stock exchange, and all of this volume was consumed within the planned period. The average daily sales of polyethylene were 603 tons, and the average daily price decreased from 16 million 14.6 thousand soums to 15 million 885.4 thousand soums. This may also indicate a significant decline in prices.
