Number of foreign-invested enterprises growing in Uzbekistan

The number of foreign-invested enterprises in Uzbekistan continues to grow, reaching a total of 19,072 active companies as of April 1, 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee. The trade sector leads this trend with 6,814 entities, followed by significant representation in the industrial and construction sectors with 3,831 and 1,544 enterprises, respectively. Other key areas of international involvement include information technology, hospitality, and transportation, reflecting a diversifying economic landscape.
