
A man who broke into a store and stole 300 packs of cigarettes in Tashkent’s Sergeli district has been apprehended. The capital’s Internal Affairs Department reported the incident, according to UPL.uz.
The robbery occurred at a shop located on Choshtepa Street, which was under the protection of the State Security Department. Upon arrival, officers found that the suspect had covered his face with a T-shirt, broke through the roof, and entered the premises.
He then stole 300 cigarette packs and attempted to flee the scene. However, due to the swift response of law enforcement, the thief was quickly captured.
The store owner noted that her shop had been robbed several times in the past, but the installation of a security system finally helped catch the perpetrator.
