An Uzbek woman and her 12-year-old daughter, who were in a difficult situation in Turkey, were returned to Uzbekistan. This was reported by the "Dunyo" news agency.
It turned out that the woman went to Turkey for work, but fell seriously ill and found herself in a difficult situation. She appealed to the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, while her daughter was with her mother during this time.
The consulate quickly studied the situation and organized the necessary assistance. With the assistance of the representative office of the Migration Agency, documents were prepared for the family's return to Uzbekistan, and an air ticket was purchased.
However, the flight was delayed due to the woman's broken leg. Under the supervision of doctors, a surgical operation was performed, and he was put on a prosthesis. Due to the difficult financial situation of our disabled compatriot, he was also provided with material assistance.
Representatives of the "Society of Culture, Solidarity and Cooperation of Uzbekistan," "Uzbekistan Airways," and diaspora organizations took an active part in the return.
Currently, the mother and daughter are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in Uzbekistan. They are supported by the National Agency for Social Protection, the Committee for Family and Women, and local authorities.
