On December 2, three people died as a result of a gas cylinder explosion at one of the markets in Gulistan. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Syrdarya region.
At the beginning of the investigation, a criminal case was initiated under part 3 of Article 257 of the Criminal Code for a violation of labor protection rules that resulted in the death of a person. Currently, 1 person is in custody according to procedural order.
According to reports, the explosion occurred in the cafeteria of a special enterprise located in the Taraqqiyot neighborhood of Gulistan city. The regional Department of Emergency Situations promised to provide additional information on this situation, but this message has not yet been released.
It became clear that there was a serious need to pay attention to safety and production regulations, as this situation raised many more questions. This situation, which led to events that caused deep public concern after the explosion, prompted a prompt and genuine investigation of criminal cases.
