An official explanation was given for the incident that caused discussion on social networks in the Tashkent region: it was determined that the weapon used in the field was a hunting weapon. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the region.
As it turned out, the case was promptly investigated by law enforcement agencies. All persons appearing in the video were identified and it was clarified who did what. During the investigation, it was revealed that on January 20, 2026, citizen Ya.Yu. had given his hunting weapon, which he had a permit for, to his acquaintance K.H. for use in the Tashkent region, contrary to the requirements of the law. The foreign citizen filmed the process of using the weapon and posted it on the WeChat social network in China.
The most important thing is that, although a weapon was used, no one was harmed during the incident, including animals. That is, the situation did not lead to serious consequences, but this does not make the violation a “simple thing”: even a single mistake in the matter of weapons can turn into a big problem.
Currently, documents have been drawn up in this case under Article 220 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic - violation of the rules for handling weapons and ammunition. It is said that the hunting weapon and ammunition were temporarily confiscated in accordance with the established procedure.
According to the Internal Affairs Directorate, the investigation is ongoing. After the final conclusions, a decision will be made within the framework of the law and additional information will be provided.
In short, this case reminds us once again: “having a permit” does not mean “you can give it to anyone”. Weapons are not toys, and rules are rules. It's good that everything ended peacefully, but such episodes require stricter control and caution in the future.
