An emergency occurred in the Kasan district of the Kashkadarya region. Today, around 10:30, a gas cylinder of a parked Damas car suddenly exploded in the Yangiabad mahalla. Videos of the incident spread widely on social media, causing public concern.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the explosion was caused by a technical malfunction of the gas cylinder installed in the vehicle. The footage shows debris from the cylinder scattering onto nearby vehicles. Fortunately, no one was injured and no fire broke out.
Currently, specialists are inspecting the scene and determining the amount of material damage. An investigation is also underway into the cause of the malfunction and when the cylinder was last inspected. We urge drivers to have their gas equipment checked in a timely and professional manner.
