Uzbek specialists to be employed in Netherlands

Relations between Uzbekistan and the Netherlands in the field of labor migration are reaching a new level. Uzbekistan's Ambassador to the Netherlands, Gayrat Fozilov, met with the management of «MMBS Groep» and representatives of the «Bouwmensen Amsterdam» training center to discuss prospects for bilateral cooperation. During the negotiations, special attention was paid to simplifying visa procedures and developing labor migration programs.

Dutch partners consider Uzbekistan a reliable and strategic partner in providing qualified personnel. Currently, 40 Uzbek specialists are working at «MMBS Groep» with a monthly salary of 2500 euros. Company representatives noted that they plan to attract up to 6,000 more Uzbek workers in the near future. This is an important step in creating decent jobs for our citizens abroad.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reached a mutually beneficial agreement. According to it, the first training center specializing in construction will be established in Urgench. In the future, the center will also train specialists in plumbing, electrical engineering, and other technical fields. This project will serve to improve the professional skills of young people based on international standards.

Also, Uzbek diplomats got acquainted with the living and working conditions of our compatriots working in the Netherlands. The parties agreed to continue efforts to further strengthen cooperation and organize labor migration processes in an orderly and safe manner.
