In the “Kamchik” pass, an unexpected fire occurred in a large-capacity “Iveco” freight vehicle. This was officially reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the information, on April 11 at 15:43, on the A-373 highway section passing through the “Kamchik” pass, a fire suddenly broke out in an “Iveco” freight vehicle traveling in the Tashkent–Fergana Valley direction. A report about the incident was promptly received by the “Kamchik” special rescue department.
Rescue units responded immediately and arrived at the scene at 15:53. As a result of operational actions, the fire was fully extinguished at 16:00.
Due to the fire, the driver’s cabin of the vehicle was completely burned, while the trailer was partially damaged. Nevertheless, thanks to quick and effective actions, approximately 90% of the freight trailer was preserved.
Most importantly, no human casualties or bodily injuries were reported as a result of the incident. The situation was brought under control, and traffic on the road was promptly restored.
To prevent such cases from happening again, drivers are urged to pay increased attention to the technical condition of their vehicles — a few minutes of attention on the road can prevent major losses.
