Temperatures of 42 degrees expected this weekend: flood risk also remains

Today and over the weekend, the weather across the republic is forecast to be mostly clear with no precipitation.
Air temperatures will gradually rise, reaching 36–39 degrees in most regions by Sunday.
In northern, southern, and desert areas, the thermometer could climb to 40–42 degrees.
Dust storms expected in some areas
Wind speeds are expected to increase to 13–18 meters per second in the north and desert regions of the republic.
In some places, strong winds may cause:
dust storms;
reduced visibility;
difficulties in movement in open areas.
Drivers are advised to reduce speed and maintain a safe distance in dusty areas.
Flood risk in four regions
On July 24, flash floods may occur in the foothills and mountainous areas of the Tashkent, Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions.
There is a possibility of short-term rain and thunderstorms in these areas. Citizens planning trips to the mountains should take weather conditions into account and be cautious near streams and waterways.

No precipitation is expected in the capital over the weekend. The weather will be mostly clear, and the wind will blow from the east at a speed of 3–8 meters per second.
