Nearly 1 kg of hashish found inside chocolates sent from Russia

Nearly 1 kilogram of hashish was uncovered during operational activities carried out in the Khorezm and Namangan regions. This was reported by the State Security Service.

It was determined that a citizen born in 2000, who had a prior criminal record, was apprehended in the Khorezm region while receiving a parcel sent from Russia via taxi. During the inspection, a total of 967 grams of hashish, hidden inside 10 chocolate wrappers within the parcel, were discovered and seized as material evidence.

Criminal cases have been initiated regarding these incidents under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are currently underway.
