These days, along with millions of Muslims around the world, pilgrims from Uzbekistan are also performing the holy Hajj. Today, during their pilgrimage to Mount Arafat, our compatriots, led by the Chairman of the Muslim Board, Mufti Nuriddin Kholiknazarov, sincerely prayed for the victory of our national football team in an important match.
Mufti Nuriddin Kholiknazarov emphasized:
"This is more than a simple football game. Through this game, the honor of our Motherland and the pride of our nation will be raised. Our national team expects prayers from us, from all our people. My God, may Allah Almighty strengthen the steps of our football players, grant them strength and victory. We support them with all our hearts and wish them success. May Allah protect them from all evil, disasters and envious eyes. May He help them spread the name of our country throughout the world."
Thus, on Mount Arafat, which is considered the holiest place in the Muslim world, our Uzbek pilgrims are helping our national team with sincere support and prayers. This will undoubtedly be an additional boost for the morale and motivation of our players.
It is worth noting that the Uzbek national football team is currently at an important stage in its bid to qualify for the World Cup. Today, on June 5, our national team will play a decisive match against the UAE team in Abu Dhabi. If our team wins or draws in this match, it will receive a direct ticket to the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
This match is not only of historical importance for our national team led by Timur Kapadze, but the hopes of our entire nation are tied to the outcome of this match. The match will start at 21:00 Tashkent time and will be broadcast live on the Futbol TV and Sport TV channels.
Before the match, all our compatriots expressed great confidence in our national team and supported it with prayers. May God grant these prayers and our team a dream World Cup ticket! Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
