The draw ceremony for the qualifying stage of the 2026 U-17 Women's Asian Cup, to be held in China, has concluded. At this important event, it became known that national teams from various corners of Asia will compete for tickets to the upcoming championship.
According to the draw results, the Uzbekistan national team is placed in Group “G”. In this group, our female players will compete against India and the host, the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the established schedule, the qualifying matches are planned to take place between October 13–17. Interestingly, this stage, to be held in Kyrgyzstan, is expected to be a unique test both for the host team and our national team.
For your information, the Uzbekistan U-17 national team has been taking serious steps in recent years towards the development of women's football among youth. Participation in such international tournaments helps the team members gain experience, increase competitiveness, and build a solid foundation to step onto the big stage.
In addition, all matches in the group are expected to be intense and exciting. Against India — a country with a well-developed football infrastructure — our girls will need to prepare seriously. Kyrgyzstan, on the other hand, will try to increase its competitiveness through home support and crowd motivation.
