Cadets on the world podium: Uzbekistan takes historic first place

At the World Cadet Judo Championship, which opened a new page in the history of Uzbek judo, with 5 gold and 2 bronze medals, we took first place in the team competition among 71 countries. This is not only a record, but also a new proof that this is the result of the potential, reserves, and preparation of our school. Throughout the tournament, in every final, in every decisive match, our young men and women acted with metronome-like precision, and in the fierce competition, with heartfelt dedication.
Russian judokas competing under the IJF flag took second place with 4 gold and 3 bronze medals, while the Brazilian national team finished in the top three with 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals. That is, the struggle for the top positions in the overall table was very intense, but Uzbekistan did not lose leadership due to stability and deep composition.
The national teams of Japan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Serbia have one world champion each - each once again demonstrated the traditions of their school. In total, delegations from 23 countries will return home with at least one bronze medal from the World Championship. These figures show that the geography of the competition has expanded, and the competition is growing year by year.
In short, the 5 gold and 2 bronze medals in the hands of our cadets are reliable capital for the future. First place in the team competition is the door to today's work and tomorrow's grand podiums. For the fans, it means one thing: this victory at the World Championship is the beginning of a new generation's story in big sports!
