After the match “Mash’al” – “Shurtan” (2:1) in the 21st round of the Super League, the head coach of the “Mash’al” club Otabek Narzullaev participated in a press conference and expressed his thoughts on the match.
According to him, this match was one of the most decisive matches of the season:
“The match was of great importance for us. At the same time, it was even more interesting because it had the status of a derby. I congratulate all the people of Mubarak on the victory,” said the coach.
Narzullaev also noted that it was possible to see two different “Mash’al” in the match:
“It is natural that there are different situations in football. In the first half, we took the lead with a score of 2:0 and relaxed a little. We saw this situation before in the match against Dynamo. At that time, we had the advantage but lost the victory. That's why we tried not to lose focus today,” he added.
Speaking about the opponent, the coach praised the Guzarists:
“Shurtan” also has talented young players. They also performed well on the field. The fact that they are in the lower places in the tournament table does not mean anything. Any team that enters the field makes mistakes.”
The coach also touched on the condition of Khumoyun Murtazoev:
“We saved Khumoyun Murtazoev, Sardor Abduraimov and Dmitry Yashin at that time because they were slightly injured in the friendly match with Sogdiana. Today, they are in good condition and are ready to help the team,” said Narzullaev.
He expressed a very positive opinion about the refereeing:
“When we played away in 2016-2017, we were afraid of the refereeing. Now the situation has changed radically. If your team is strong, you can win both at home and away. Now the refereeing has reached a new level, and there is also the VAR system.”
The coach also said that the team that does not play in its own stadium will face more difficulties:
“I think that if we had played the matches in Mubarak, we would have had much more points. Because they say that the walls at home also help. This is true. The players also feel differently. True, there are some problems with the stadium, but I am sure that they will be resolved over time,” Narzullaev concluded.
