Uzbek boxer Murodjon Ahmadaliyev will face Japan’s Naoya Inoue on September 14 in Nagoya, Kursiv.uz reported. According to Salaryleaks, Ahmadaliyev will earn a total of $6 million (around 75 billion UZS) for the bout.
The fight purse is set at $20 million, split 75% to Inoue and 25% to Ahmadaliyev. The Japanese fighter is guaranteed a base purse of $15 million.
Inoue could earn an additional $4 million through pay-per-view (PPV) revenue. This would set a new career record for him, surpassing his previous high of $7 million for the fight against Yu Jung Kim.
Ahmadaliyev will receive $5 million as base pay and another $1 million from PPV. The total $6 million will be his highest career earnings to date.
So far, Ahmadaliyev has had 15 professional fights, winning 14 and losing 1. Inoue remains undefeated with 30 wins in 30 fights.
