However, unexpected news came from the semi-final fight in the -65 kg weight category. Georgian national team representative Lasha Guruli was unable to enter the ring due to injury. Therefore, the match was canceled, and Asadkhoja Moydinkhojayev automatically qualified for the final.
According to the official information released by the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, Asadkhoja will now face experienced Brazilian athlete Yuri Reis in the decisive match.
