Uzbekistan’s U-16 national team lost 1–3 to Japan U-17 in a friendly match. The Japanese team opened the scoring in the 29th minute through Koke Nagasoe.
At the start of the second half, the Uzbek players increased their pressure, and in the 47th minute Lazizbek Abdurahimov equalized with a precise strike. However, the result didn’t last long — Japan’s young players secured victory with goals from Chimeziekai Ezemuokwe (73') and Kyoya Tatsunov (90').
Throughout the match, the Uzbek side showed good discipline and movement but struggled to contain Japan’s fast attacks.
The next game between the two teams will take place on October 16. According to the coaching staff, there may be some changes in the lineup for that match.
