Haiti, Panama, and Curaçao Secure World Cup Qualification


The 2026 FIFA World Cup has three more confirmed participants. Following the conclusion of the third qualifying round in the CONCACAF region, the national teams of Haiti, Panama, and Curaçao have secured their spots in the tournament.

In the final round, Haiti defeated Nicaragua 2-0, Panama secured a 3-0 victory over El Salvador, and Curaçao played to a 0-0 draw against Jamaica. Both Haiti and Panama will be making their second appearances in the World Cup; they previously participated in 1974 and 2018 respectively.

Meanwhile, Curaçao’s national team has advanced to the World Cup finals for the first time in its history. The 2026 World Cup will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The tournament will run from June 11 to July 19. For the first time, the competition will feature 48 national teams, 42 of which have already been confirmed.
