Javokhir Ummataliyev advanced to the next stage of the World Cup

Members of our national team are participating in the World Championship, which is being held in Dubai from December 2nd to 13th under the auspices of the IBA. On the first day of boxing, two of our boxers competed.

The fight between Javokhir Ummataliyev and Seychelles representative Dasheil Fanchette in the -80 kg weight category has ended. Ummataliyev's significant advantage in all rounds was also taken into account in the results of the match. Over the full 3 rounds, Javokhir won by unanimous decision of the judges and advanced to the next stage.

As a reminder, another clash between our compatriot, Sayat Ilyasov, and Palestinian Anas Sleiman is also expected. For both boxers, this match will be an important match against strong opponents.
