As you know, the men's World Boxing Championship is currently in full swing in Dubai, the city of the United Arab Emirates, which has become a world sports arena. Representatives of our national team are also worthily participating in this prestigious competition, held under the auspices of the IBA organization, and demonstrating their skills. Today's program included the fights of four young men representing Uzbekistan.
In the -80 kg weight category, our compatriot Javokhir Ummataliyev competed against Haitian athlete Cedric Beloni-Duliyepre. This match was already mentioned as a clash worthy of anticipated attention. The fight lasted a full 3 rounds, and in each episode, Javohir's dominance was clearly felt. Keeping his opponent under constant pressure, he achieved a clear technical and tactical advantage. In the end, the judges unanimously decided the victory in favor of our boxer - 5:0.
This result gave a positive atmosphere not only to Javokhir's own success, but also to the overall mood of our national team. The will, perseverance, and high skill of our boxer made a great impression on the fans.
Furthermore, another exciting fight awaits: Arman Makhanov will face Andre Thompson, competing in the IBA-PRO-2 category. The fans expect a good result from this clash as well, as our guys are showing dedication for victory in this championship.
Every step of our compatriots on the big stage in Dubai makes us happy. We wish our boxers strength, luck, and victory in the upcoming matches - the days when our flag will be raised even higher are still ahead.
