Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery, after beating Nottingham Forest 3–1 in Matchweek 20 of the English Premier League, noted that the team showed thorough preparation and positive play on the pitch. Sharing his thoughts on the important post-break victory, Emery said:
“A great result — we earned three very important points. After the break, we had to be well prepared for the game. The players carried out our demands very well. It was important to take our chances. Most importantly, we didn’t allow the opponent to create dangerous fast attacks.”
