The long-awaited news for Bekobod football has been officially confirmed: Metallurg Football Club has resumed operations. The team that halted its activities in 2024 is returning to the big stage two years later — to Pro League matches. This update delighted not only Bekobod fans, but also everyone who values the name “Metallurg” in Uzbek football.
A special event was held to mark the comeback. UFA First Vice President Ravshan Irmatov attended and shared his sincere wishes for the team. He emphasized that it is important for Metallurg to reclaim its place, restore its former standing, and develop talented players for the national team.
