On January 24, a professional boxing event organized by Matchroom Boxing took place at the Fontainebleau Arena in Las Vegas, USA. Uzbek boxer, former world champion in welterweight, Isroil Madrimov, faced Dominican boxer Luis David Salazar.
Almost throughout the entire battle, the initiative was in Madrimov's hands. He controlled the situation, controlled the movement himself, prepared the shots, and worked accurately. Selecting to play as second-seeded from the start, Salazar remained mostly in defense, rarely on counter-attacks, and tried to "catch" more shots.

It should be noted that the Uzbek champion had not officially fought for almost a year. He underwent a recovery process after surgery on his shoulder, and he resumed training only five weeks ago. Going into the ring under such conditions and showing such a convincing result significantly lifted the spirits of the fans.
Madrimov last fought on February 23, 2025, in Saudi Arabia against American Virgil Ortis for the WBC Interim championship belt and suffered defeat by judges' decision. This time, Israel has once again made its name known: it has shown with practical results that it has returned and is firmly committed to returning to form.
After the fight, Madrimov performed a salto in his own style for the fans - he further "exploded" the atmosphere in the hall. Then, looking at the stands, he addressed the audience warmly:
"I love you all, I will fight for you. "Madrimov has returned!," he said.
In short, this victory in Las Vegas is not just another result for Israel - it's the first hard step towards a big comeback. Now, fans are waiting for one thing: Madrimov to return to higher goals in his next fight.
