What did Luis Enrique say about the "super comeback" against Monaco?

Parisian club PSG gained not only three points but also a moral advantage after a determined victory over Monaco in the Champions League. The team, which was 0:2 down, eventually turned the game around and won 3:2. This is not a simple comeback, but rather a test of character.
After the match, PSG head coach Luis Enrique shared his impressions of the game and called it a “unique” match. According to him, everything started very quickly and very hard.
As Enrique noted, Monaco scored on their first attack. Thus, the game was dealt a psychological blow right from the start. Not long after, the opponents successfully broke through the defense again and scored a second goal. In such a situation, the inner “confidence” of many teams is tested: both individual players and the entire team can lose themselves.
But PSG did not fall into this scenario. According to Enrique, the most important thing is that the team’s mood did not drop even when the situation became difficult. The mood on the field did not fall into a state of “it’s over, it’s over”, but on the contrary, the confidence in the game was maintained. And this confidence later translated into results: the team increased the pressure, accelerated the movement, created more chances and finally made a complete turnaround.
Enrique assessed this victory in the same way: this test could have eroded the confidence of both the players, both individually and collectively, but PSG managed to pass this test. In a quote from RMC Sport, he emphasized that the team remained in good spirits despite the difficulties.
Now the most exciting part is ahead: the return leg in Paris on February 25. PSG will be in a good mood heading into this match - but the "second half" is always different in the Champions League. If they can show the same character they had in the first leg, the night in Paris could be even sweeter for the fans.
