Azizyan in doubt: Jan Blachowicz's "injury" looks like a lie

Gor Azizyan, founder and coach of the "Gor MMA" gym, has expressed skepticism regarding the recent injury claims of Polish fighter Jan Blachowicz. He believes the information surrounding the injury appears questionable, suggesting that Blachowicz may not be physically prepared for fights after a significant break. Azizyan speculates that there could be other reasons behind the injury reports, possibly linked to Blachowicz's desire to maintain his record. This situation may also impact upcoming fight schedules, with potential new opponents being considered for Guskov soon.
Gor Azizyan, the founder and coach of the “Gor MMA” gym, reacted sharply to recent reports surrounding the famous Polish fighter Jan Blachowicz. In his opinion, the information circulating about the fighter's injury appears suspicious.
Azizyan noted that Blachowicz has already reached a certain stage in terms of age and is not physically prepared to hold two fights in a short period, specifically within five months. Therefore, he does not rule out that other reasons may lie behind the talk of an “injury.”
“In my opinion, these reports do not quite correspond to reality. He simply wants to preserve his record. Because so far, no one has been able to put such serious pressure on Jan as Bogdan has,” Gor Azizyan stated in an exclusive interview with Maksim Yakovlev.
This situation may also affect the fight schedule. It is reported that there is a possibility a new opponent will be appointed for Guskov in the near future.
In short, games in the octagon are not played with fists alone — sometimes strategy and “timing” decide everything. Where the truth lies in this situation will be revealed soon.
