Historic clash of Spanish coaches in the Champions League final

Another historic event is about to unfold in European football. For the first time in the history of the Champions League and the former European Cup, teams managed by two Spanish coaches will face each other in the decisive final.
According to journalist Pedro Martin, this final will feature France's Paris Saint-Germain, led by Luis Enrique, and England's Arsenal, under the guidance of Mikel Arteta. This is considered a major milestone not only for the clubs but also for the Spanish school of coaching.
In recent years, Luis Enrique has succeeded in building a new and competitive team at PSG. The Parisians performed very confidently in the European arena this season, eliminating Germany's Bayern Munich in the semifinals.
Mikel Arteta has returned Arsenal to the ranks of Europe's elite clubs. The Londoners have achieved significant growth over the last few years and have finally reached the Champions League final.
An interesting aspect is that, to date, a confrontation between coaches from the same country in Champions League and European Cup finals has occurred only four times.
In 1979, Nottingham Forest, managed by Englishman Brian Clough, and Malmö, led by Bob Houghton, met in the final. In 2003, Italian specialists Marcello Lippi and Carlo Ancelotti faced off with Juventus and AC Milan respectively.
In 2013, German coaches Jürgen Klopp and Jupp Heynckes led Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich to the final, while in 2020, German football representatives Thomas Tuchel and Hans-Dieter Flick managed PSG and Bayern Munich in the decisive match.
Now, for the first time in history, two Spanish coaches will battle for the Champions League trophy.
As a reminder, the PSG vs. Arsenal final will take place on May 30 at the famous Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary. There is no doubt that football fans are in for a tactically fascinating and uncompromising encounter.
