Another important step has been taken in Uzbekistan aimed at developing space technologies. According to Kazinform international news agency, this year 7 Uzbek students will have the opportunity to study in a master's program at Japan’s renowned Kyushu Institute of Technology. These students will gain the most advanced knowledge in creating, assembling, and launching a satellite into space.
According to experts, during their studies the youth will gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience — meaning they will work independently on a satellite project. In the future, this experience will serve as a solid foundation for Uzbekistan to create and launch its own satellite.
According to Deputy Director of the Space Agency Mukhiddin Ibrohimov, this process will be carried out based on international cooperation and technological partnerships. The agency leadership is also holding negotiations with the company SpaceX. These agreements may allow Uzbekistan to launch its satellite into space by 2028.
It should be noted that before launching a satellite, contracts must be signed with special companies, technical preparation must be completed, and a number of practical tasks must be carried out. Agency representatives emphasize that all stages in this field are being thoroughly studied and that international experience plays a crucial role.
This step will open completely new fields of science and technology for Uzbekistan. In the coming years, by creating its own satellite, the country is expected to gain new opportunities in information, meteorology, communications, and security. Undoubtedly, this initiative will serve as great motivation for youth interested in science and technology, and a new technological milestone for the country’s image. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
