Scientific breakthrough: Musk’s chip turns thoughts into text

Elon Musk’s company Neuralink is preparing to test a new technology that allows transforming human thoughts into written form.

As part of the project, volunteers with speech impairments will be implanted with a special chip powered by artificial intelligence. It captures brain electrical signals, transmits them to external devices, and helps convert them into text.

According to specialists, the implants are intended for patients who have survived severe illnesses but lost the ability to control mouth and speech movements. They can think clearly but struggle to articulate words.

Neuralink’s initiative may give people who cannot speak the opportunity to express their thoughts freely.
